Date Display formatting

Is there a way to see the actual date and time in most significant first ordered form YYYY.MM.DD HH:MM:SS for questions, answers and comments. This was beaten to death at SE and the consensus was it should be universal and not English or US centric.

When you hover over a date on SE it shows you the full date time stamp which is a reasonable compromise. Even so many people would like to know on what date something happened and not a vague "almost 3 months ago" so being able to set the date display in personal profile would be real nice.

I see in the edit history this information is there but having to go and look for it makes it of very limited value for glancing at as you parse the format.

We do the same thing here. Hover over most relative timestamps ("x ago") and you'll get an exact ISO 8601-ish formatted date-time. If you find one that doesn't, please let us know!
