I think I can see where this desire might be coming from.

However, I also think that what is proposed here is the wrong solution.

If a user is consistently [being mean and rude](https://meta.codidact.com/posts/284332/284333#answer-284333) over time, then they are clearly [neither nice nor respectful](/help/code-of-conduct).

Content that is in violation of the Code of Conduct should be reported to the moderators so that it can be dealt with properly, not hidden away by individual users and left for others (including casual visitors) to see.
