Why does searching with answers:0 still show ANSWERED questions?
This is particularly helpful to find unanswered questions:
answers:0
.
I pine to see merely the UNanswered questions on Math Main. But see below.

By default the search also finds answers, and since there are no answers attached to those (you cannot answer an answer, after all), it shows them as well.
To get rid of them, specifically ask for questions by adding post_type:1
to the search.
Having said that, maybe it would be a good idea if answers:0
would imply a post type that in principle could have answers attached (AFAIK currently questions are the only post type with that property)
