Once filled out, the user profile cannot be reverted to empty
For a long time I had no content in my user profile, then today I added something to see how it would look. I then changed my mind and decided to go back to having nothing. However, there is a minimum number of characters on the "Profile" field of the "Edit" tab, preventing me from going back to leaving it empty.

As a workaround I've put "I'll think of something to write here." which is just long enough to let me save.

Is it intentional that once a user saves anything in the Profile field, they can never go back to leaving it empty again?

Make title more succinct
  • After filling out the Profile text area in one's profile, the system prevents reverting to having nothing there
  • Once filled out, the user profile cannot be reverted to empty
