Mention new draft post works correctly too.
- While drafting or editing a post images do not show in the rendered post preview. Instead the alt text is displayed:

I suspected it was since the default alt text was changed from "Image alt text" to "Image_alt_text", but even after typing over the default with some meaningful alt text the image still does not show in the preview, so I don't think the alt text change is related.
- After saving the post, the image also does not show in the saved post - instead showing the alt text.
- Old posts still show old images correctly, and editing them shows those images in the preview, but adding a new image shows only the alt text.
