Rejected suggested edit changes what is listed as the original text [duplicate]

I viewed a rejected suggested edit, and then made an edit of my own to the same post. I then viewed the rejected suggested edit again, and noticed that the "before" content (the left hand side) included my changes, even though the suggested edit was rejected before I made my changes.
Notice that the suggestion and its rejection were both about 4 hours ago, whereas my edit was only 16 minutes ago, but the new content I added is now showing in the left hand side of the rejected edit.
