Welcome to Codidact Meta!

Codidact Meta is the meta-discussion site for the Codidact community network and the Codidact software. Whether you have bug reports or feature requests, support questions or rule discussions that touch the whole network – this is the site for you.

Search

Advanced Search Options

To further refine your search, you can use additional qualifiers such as score:>0.5. For example, the search score:>=0.5 created:<1y grammar would return only posts mentioning "grammar" that have a score >= 0.5 and were created less than a year ago. Use category:<ID> to restrict your search to one category (the ID is what's shown after /categories/ in the URL).

Further help with searching is available in the help center.

Quick hints: tag:tagname, user:xxx, "exact phrase", post_type:xxx, created:<N{d,w,mo,y}, score:>=0.5

This happens because the preview is being rendered client-side by a JavaScript library, while the actual post is being rendered server-side using a Rails library. I've been told it's not feasible ...

Q&A Category RSS feeds should feature a post when an answer is posted

Should be completed with the next deploy - the entry's updated value will now reflect the post's last activity, including any new answers, and the feed should be ordered by activity.

Q&A Trying to edit an answer results in internal server error; edit gets recorded, but not promoted to current revision

This is most likely something to do with a data import that's running right at the moment and taking up a lot of database time. Ideally we'd be able to switch the sites into read-only mode, but we ...

Q&A How should Codidact "advertise" and gain community members?

Hello, I came from here from Ad on World-building Stack. Well, perhaps you could advertise on being more friendly here, because 75% of answers on Stack (at least on WB and Writing) are reeking of e...

Q&A Can there be some sort of way to save your progress when asking/answering questions?

There should be, I know of a few JavaScript libs that will save what you type into the browsers local storage. Many of them will work automatically with html forms and are quite easy to integrate.
