Trying to edit an answer results in internal server error; edit gets recorded, but not promoted to current revision

This is a bit weird.

I spotted a typo in an answer of mine, and figured I'd fix it.

I was able to edit the answer, but when I tried to save the edit, I got a page telling me there had been an internal server error. (Sorry; I didn't note the error ID.)

Unsurprisingly, the typo is still there. I tried the same thing again once more, with the same result.

However, when I checked out the revision history of the answer, it looks like the edit has been saved. It just was never promoted to the 'active' post revision.

This is most likely something to do with a data import that's running right at the moment and taking up a lot of database time. Ideally we'd be able to switch the sites into read-only mode, but we don't have that ability yet - maybe some time in the future. Meanwhile, we should be back to normal soon once the import has finished.
