Question An alternative approach to the view order of answers
TLDR at the end. One thing I never was quite content with on SE was that if you view a question that by default either the most upvoted or accepted answer is the first one you see. This mechanism allows users to quickly see what most other users found helpful or was helpful for the original per...

Answer A: How should we approach a programming site or sites?
I want to offer a more community- and not topic-orientated answer to this question. Basically, you could rephrase the question to discuss any topic. Many topics have vibrant sub-topics. Mathematics is not just mathematics, besides algebra, calculus, there also are (applied) fields like statistics an...

Comment Post #276113 That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks for the link! It might be sensible to add a paragraph for user generated content which links to the Terms of Service and to note that user generated data also is not subject to being sold in any way (which I think is the case?).

Question Is there a privacy policy for Codidact?
Is there a privacy policy for Codidact? As I'm a resident within the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation pretty much dictates how websites have to present their activities around privacy for me. I did view the cookies for Codidact and it seems that there only are necessary on...

How do I notify users who have a space in their name? Is it @UserName or @User Name? Can I add a characters right after @Username (for exmap...

Comment Post #275896 @ArtOfCode Clicking the menu again worked. However, it seems a little counterintuitive for me as I click on a single notification to get to the newest content and don't browse all notifications at once. So if I click on one notification, I only want this one to be read and the others to be still avai...

Question Notifications don't disappear after reading them
Whenever there is a new comment or answer to one of my posts, I get a notification in my notification bar. However, even though I click on it and read the content in question, the notifications don't go away. What do I have to do so that notifications go away and I only see the new ones? If it'...

Question Let mail addresses be confirmed
I've successfully signed up for Codidact with a mail address. However, the mail address I used didn't receive a confirmation mail so Codidact can't know if the person operating this account and the person operating the used mail address are the same. In the event of my account being compromised...
