Comment Post #280399 The advice to stop answering Elsewhere isn't good advertising. Stopping to produce content might be understandable on principle, but won't get *more* people to click on your profile than if you continually produce questions and answers and have your profile in more places.

Comment Post #279560 @MonicaCellio No, it wasn't. The mysteries of caching are beyond me, but the problem's solved

Comment Post #279560 @MonicaCellio I cleared my cache and that fixed the issue. But for posterity, clicking on the link to Judaism or even typing the URL brought me to Meta for some reason

Comment Post #279390 @Wikis That seems right if by "you" you mean @manassehkatz. I had proposed a broader scope, though I would also prefer Stories (or Narrative/Fiction) to science fiction alone

Comment Post #279390 @MonicaCellio I didn't mean to exclude them: "I can see arguments for a site with more limited scope, like Books, Prose, Narrative, but it seems more logical to be as inclusive as possible with a Literature site." It does bring up the question of where to draw the line, though

Answer A: Science-Fiction & Fantasy site
I would suggest broadening to scope to any literature. Some benefits: The same kind of people who are interested in science fiction and fantasy are likely to be readers of other books as well A broader scope is more in line with other Codidact sites (Languages & Linguistics and Software Develop...

Question Relevance of search results
The search function seems not to turn up good search results when sorted by relevance (the default sort). For example: Searching for `community wiki` on Meta Codidact turns up 12 pages of results, but the whole first page of results has nothing with "wiki" in the title and only a handful with "com...

Question Community wiki post type
Is it possible to add a type of post corresponding to the community wiki of Stack Exchange? The post should be: Not associated to any one user Editable by anyone without approval (or after a minor barrier to prevent spam) This would be useful for the Resources category at the Languages sit...

Comment Post #278775 FWIW the thread I remembered is [here](https://forum.codidact.org/t/area-52-ideas-for-new-sub-site-topics/204) including your comments @manassehkatz. I at least still like the idea (even though it's apparently very unpopular right now)

Comment Post #278775 @manassehkatz On the Codidact forum you mentioned an idea similar to this, to put questions into relevant sites instead of getting rid of them entirely (it's hard to find it now with the deprecated forum but I assume you remember it). Did you change your mind or had I misunderstood you?

Comment Post #276998 I also have only niche interests, but I would participate as far as the subjects I can contribute to are brought up

Comment Post #276855 Another option is to use categories to distinguish between the languages of the posts (and not the language discussed in the post), i.e. one category for posts in a certain language about any language, which would only be created if there is a significant community speaking the language. (Probably un...

Answer A: A new Judaism community
I hope for as inclusive a scope as possible. On Mi Yodeya, there were rules that encouraged closing particular questions. I think that these rules should be reexamined to allow for a broader set of permitted questions. Here is a list of the top-rated closed questions. For example, questions suc...
