I think this needs an example or two. https://writing.codidact.com/posts/277446/history (Writing Q&A, category ID 1) and https://math.codidact.com/posts/278447/history (Mathematics Q&A, category ID 41) both seem to me to link back to the question just fine.

This is usually built-into browsers. Alt left-arrow is pretty universal, there is often a left arrow near the top left corner, and also a menu entry somewhere. Do these not work for you somehow, or are you expecting every web page to have a go-back button?

@Monica Cellio I realized what is happening, and I am editing now.

Thanks for the edit! I see it now. Just missing the header block with the title/link and score there, it looks like.

@Monica Cellio Oh that's what it's called? :)

@OlinLathrop Although admittedly a rare use case, the back button won't go to the post if the post history is directly linked to (such as in this question). In any case, this is still a bug regardless of how you feel about the particular feature.

@Dani I don't actually know what it's called, no. I just picked some words that seemed descriptive. :-) I've created a GitHub issue for this problem and somebody has already volunteered to work on it.
