As far as I know, a "contact us" button (or alike) is both an accessibility standard and a business standard, to say the least.

I want to write to the community managers privately --- and please unlike the StackExchange team, kindly do identify by name and operational title if and when you reply.

You're right, and that's been on our to-do list for a while, sorry. You can send email to support@codidact.com. We have a support portal under development; email actually flows into that now and the back end works, but I think you need to create an account on that platform and we'd rather wire that up to your Codidact account if you're logged in, so we haven't announced that broadly yet.

We ought to add the email link to the footer while waiting for the nicer support-portal integration. Thanks for the reminder.

While you're working on the portal, you could make a simple “contact us” page that basically gives the email address for contact (with the usual spam-protection measures applied).

Hi Monica, I have sent an email ; I got an (automatic?) reply saying Just confirming that we got your request. We're on it. ; if in the future you would require that people would send inquiries only from a form, please consider to send them a copy of their message in the automatic reply.

@JohnDoea‭ that's a good idea, thanks!

Just be careful so it can't be used to send arbitrary-content e-mails to arbitrary e-mail addresses. It's probably hard to end up being labelled as a spammer much more quickly than offering that feature to the world...

@JohnDoea I've gone into the support ticketing system and updated the relevant template. Those emails should now include a copy of the text you submit with a ticket next time you file a ticket. Thanks for the report.
