Bulleted lists don't work on IOS Firefox and MacOS Safari
I tried to post an answer with a bulleted list, but it renders without bullets.
I can't repro here, but I have submitted multiple edits to the answer above, and none of them allow me to get the post formatted with actual bullets.
Here is a screen shot while I'm editing:
However, the edited post renders witout bullets:
I'm using Firefox on an iPhone 12 Mini, iOS 16.5.1
One of the previous answers exhibits the same problem - I even submitted an edit suggestion, but now I'm less than certain that it would actually fix the rendering.
Am I doing something wrong, or is there a problem on that particular site?
This may be a duplicate of https://meta.codidact.com/posts/75005 though it seems to be more generally about the lack of consistency between the preview and the rendered final post.
This bug also occurs on MacOS in Safari; it's not iOS/mobile-specific.

Here is what your answer looks like on my machine:
You can see that the bullet points are rendered correctly, so it sounds like it is the rendering of bullet points on your machine that is problematic (the other answer you mentioned also looks correct on my machine).
To help narrow down what might be different on your machine, could you mention your operating system and browser, including version numbers if possible? It would also be useful to have a screenshot of the problematic answers, and perhaps the other answers for comparison.
If you see bullet points correctly in the question that you answered, it would be useful to know that too. I notice that the question uses hyphens as bullet points, whereas you use asterisks as bullet points, as does the other answer you mentioned being problematic. Both hyphens and asterisks are valid markdown bullets - it would just be useful to know whether both are affected by this bug.
