Subscriptions settings don't sync between sites (even though everything else does)

I noticed that the email subscriptions settings page doesn't sync between the different sites. It kind of irks me that everything else is exactly the same between the different account pages except for that.

On a related note, why isn't there a 'main account page' for all the user settings instead of having multiple? I assume basically everything except trust/rep syncs between accounts (username, avatar, profile description, etc.), so why not put it all in one place?

There's a difference: your user account & profile is network-wide, whereas your email subscriptions are per-site. I can see the use of having a single network-wide page to manage your emails, but it's not something we have the spare developer time for right now - I'm sticking [status-deferred] on this for now.
