Q&A

Welcome to Codidact Meta!

Codidact Meta is the meta-discussion site for the Codidact community network and the Codidact software. Whether you have bug reports or feature requests, support questions or rule discussions that touch the whole network – this is the site for you.

Can we have description of tags when we hover over / click them?

With the re-tagging of the site proposal, new tags were introduced. I didn't know the meaning of those, so I hovered over them to see a short description just as I was / am used to doing in the Stack Exchange network, just to notice that this doesn't exist here yet.

Can we have short descriptions of tags when you hover over them / or click on them? (For the second suggestion, I want to stay on the same site and not be redirected to the specific tag's site.)

Behaviour as implemented on the Stack Exchange network:

hovering tags produces a short description on the Stack Exchange network

Behaviour here on Codidact (you can't see my mouse pointer but you can see that the tag is hovered as it's slightly darker than the others):

hovering tags doesn't produce a short description on Codidact
