I have 512x512 px JPG avatars (90% quality, still quite high), and they take each 150KB at the very most. In constrast, the PNG versions take 600KB. But it's simply because PNGs are lossless, so... So yeah, it's a weirdly high bar. (more) |

Digital games are told in either newspaper and commercial terms -as some sort of digital trend- and computer games are much more for PC gaming, though now it is not much used compared to PC games.
On its side, video games encompass all kinds and is the most common term used and found online. If yo... (more) |

@#8045 What's stopping me from copy-pasting... Because I have a quick remembrance of the name but don't have the name imprinted on hand. Doesn't happen when you comment of course, but when looking for specific users... (more) |

@ArtOfCode Indeed, they're mitigations, not really something which solves the core of the issue (which isn't unicode per say). You know you (or the next one) will have to work on it later, and face the issues of restricting something which wasn't, both technically and socially. And this, even if it m... (more) |

My point is, yes, unicode is working as intended, strictly speaking; However, ... (more) |

This idea, while interesting, looks to me more like a work around. Indeed, it doesn't solve other problems, such as user searching when looking for an user. And such things will pile up until the root (allowing very specific characters) is treated.
Still, if for some reasons it's not possible to c... (more) |

So... Do you mean that because it's hard to protect one against it, it won't be done? I'll be mean for a second, but aren't you circling around the problem?
I would understand if you told that it's on the bottom of the priority list (for instance due to high-cost/low-profit, for instance). But wit... (more) |

I truly am lost on how to display clearly my interest on such thing. So I got worn out and simply decided to put a thread here. Somehow.
Put a sign here if you're interested to sign up on this project. Not a litteral one, though.
