Wording on licensing

Comment Post #288618 All in all, these things are also fairly minor. I point it out mostly because when you are used to something, differences can feel worse than they would if you are a new user.

Comment Post #288618 Nice. Top of my list is the editor toolkit which I use pretty extensively, even on my own posts, to clean up common mistakes. I'm currently the maintainer of it and it wouldn't be hard to make it work here.

Comment Post #288618 Even "use the default" is a choice that the user has to make which I think is a bit of an obstacle to posting for new users. Its extra UI that you have to take the time to understand. It doesn't help that until you click, every visible license is cryptically abbreviated.

Answer A: What should I know when coming here from Stack Exchange?
I signed up a couple years ago but only got active here in the last couple weeks. Here are some of my notes. Your reputation doesn't transfer over I'm starting from 1 here. There have been some questions imported to some sites and you can claim your content there, but that isn't the usual case...

Comment Post #280149 Another use of the clean link is as an easy way to refresh the page. My browser no longer has a refresh button shown in the UI, so it is up to sites to provide that functionality on the site now.

Question Linking to posts with anchor text is too hard
One place in which I'm finding that more friction at Codidact than I was expecting is creating links to other questions with the question title as the anchor text. I'm going to use https://meta.codidact.com/posts/39450 or "How does Codidact avoid repeating Stack Exchange's mistakes?" as an examp...

Question Consistent borders on the inputs when asking a question.
I'm getting used to the UI here where the the title comes after the body when when writing a question. I'm finding it a bit annoying because I write my titles first and I have to scroll down to do that. However, even worse, I am consistently trying to write my title in the tags box. I just caugh...

Comment Post #288294 It could be a possibility. Places that allow site reviews tend to get far more requests than people willing to do the reviews. Webmasterworld makes it work by requiring that you participate in two other site reviews before asking for your own.

Answer A: Site proposal: Webmasters
I'm committing to this site. I've been a moderator on Webmasters SE for 10 years and have answered 3,400 questions there. I have 20 years of experience as a webmaster and software developer. During the site launch I would ask 100+ starter questions. Many of them would be basics that already hav...
