Welcome to Codidact Meta!

Codidact Meta is the meta-discussion site for the Codidact community network and the Codidact software. Whether you have bug reports or feature requests, support questions or rule discussions that touch the whole network – this is the site for you.

Search

Advanced Search Options

To further refine your search, you can use additional qualifiers such as score:>0.5. For example, the search score:>=0.5 created:<1y grammar would return only posts mentioning "grammar" that have a score >= 0.5 and were created less than a year ago. Use category:<ID> to restrict your search to one category (the ID is what's shown after /categories/ in the URL).

Further help with searching is available in the help center.

Quick hints: tag:tagname, user:xxx, "exact phrase", post_type:xxx, created:<N{d,w,mo,y}, score:>=0.5

Q&A Is there a Codidact community fitting for this question (or one emerging)?

Is there any Codidact network website in the horizon to accept this question? Perhaps with some edit or conceptual change the question would be a good fit for scientific speculation? Daily life...

Q&A A friendly error when trying to upload a profile picture more than 2 MB

Q&A Split any question post with two or more questions into several posts (per the number of questions) and attribute it to the asker

It can be tempting for askers to put more than one question in a post because it has the illusion of saving time, at least for the poster and maybe also for community members. You might want to co...

It sounds like we want to temporarily revoke a person's ability to make lots of posts when recent quality is an issue. The Participate Everywhere ability allows one to post without limit. Nominal...

Q&A Should we modify the default (front) page for anonymous visitors?

Maybe the ordering of the default tab should be more sophisticated, both for logged-out and logged-in users, new or otherwise. The "Activity" tab would then not be the default one, and the default ...

I agree that such a front page looks bad. I also agree with a comment that trying to simply hide poorly received posts is hiding the problem instead of solving it. It's sweeping the problem under ...
