@ArtOfCode While you are right about the illegality part, I still can't wrap my head around the examples being NSFW. (If my employer needed me to know about stuff like this, I don't think they would care.) Maybe it's a culture thing, maybe not - that's why I asked if there is a significant amount of ... (more) |

@OlinLathrop I don't know how a structured way to enter data is nannyware? The thing is that (at least) for recipes on Cooking it would be nice to have recipes structured so that you can quickly review them and see what's important and what's not. I can't talk about Photography, however, I do see adv... (more) |

Yes, you are right about the passage in the ToS or CoC - right now both don't mention it. About the downvotes, I can't tell you anything, I didn't vote until now but it would be interesting to know if they are against the functionality altogether or just against the form you're proposing. (more) |

To be honest, I'm a little bit surprised to see this. I have always thought that NSFW content is restricted to explicit images of sexual deeds and gore. I don't view your examples as NSFW but rather as educational and especially good questions. Of course, nudes and images of extreme violence should b... (more) |

Snippets in other languages have to be allowed as there are often situations where you can convey meaning only in the respective language. However, questions should be translated or at least be accessible by providing information in English. (more) |

@luap42 On Cooking, we also have some users with a lot of reputation but without any posts: https://ibb.co/SwyNNrR And my points jumped as well even though nothing has happened so far. (more) |

@MonicaCellio Count me in for actively building it, at least for English, German and a bit of Spanish. (more) |

Will these guidelines be introduced after or before the creation of a legal entity? If after creation of a legal entity, how are the terms "Codidact team", "community board", and "Codidact board" defined? I find it difficult to assess this document with my little knowledge about these terms but I can... (more) |

Could this organisation chart be added under "Who runs Codidact?" in the Codidact FAQ? I think that would help a lot with transparency and knowing what Codidact is right now. (more) |

Besides displaying a hint, I would also like to see a sentence that explains the core mechanics as you explained them to me (or a link to an article in the help center). It's very different to have accounts set up everywhere with your initial sign up or setting them up yourself by actively visiting a... (more) |

That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks for the link! It might be sensible to add a paragraph for user generated content which links to the Terms of Service and to note that user generated data also is not subject to being sold in any way (which I think is the case?). (more) |

@ArtOfCode Clicking the menu again worked. However, it seems a little counterintuitive for me as I click on a single notification to get to the newest content and don't browse all notifications at once. So if I click on one notification, I only want this one to be read and the others to be still avai... (more) |
