Answer A: More answer feedback -- Reactions are coming to Codidact
Bug There is no way to cancel/discard reaction's box after it was opened. reaction's box Edit: Feature-request This is not a bug as I thought initially, that's good but the way it's implemented isn't obvious in a current form indeed. I think an additional button with clear "Clos...

Answer A: Enlarging the chance that clarification-question comments would be modular
While I somewhat agree with your concerns I don't think providing some additional system that checks comments is a good idea (second suggestions). Especially across all communities. Here is my thoughts: Such hint would annoy some users, myself included. The less system intrudes to communicatio...

Answer A: Threaded comments are here!
Flags > You can now flag individual comments. Not sure whether it's by design or not but I'd prefer to have ability to flag a comment not only in a separate thread-comment page but from preview as well. Currently it shows like thread preview so I suppose `flag` link is missing here

Answer A: Threaded comments are here!
Transition > With this change, all pre-existing comments have been moved into threads named "General Comments". It seems like this migration step doesn't cover notifications. They still use old "routes". I think it's probably OK to old ones (though I'd still like to have ability to retur...

Question "You were mentioned in a comment" notification doesn't redirect to another community
I got a `You were mentioned in a comment` notification while browsing SD. I tried to open it and instead of redirecting to the right community (Meta) it opened the reference in a current community. So, for example, instead of ``` https://software.codidact.com/comments/thread/3355#comment-11061...

Answer A: What does the round silver circle in the dashboard mean?
It is a status badge. A gray circle means that there is at least one post that you have not read (or, more strictly, saw/check) so far. If you navigate to a category with gray-status and then return back to the `Dashboard` page the status will be different. Also, if you keep a cursor for some...

Question Reputation is disappeared from user's card recently
Not sure exactly when but for some time I don't see `r` in a user's card. From what I can tell it happens only on Meta and, for example, on SD it is still visible. An additional context: Heads up: small design changes, a better user card and some long-expected features Quote from there > Fro...

Answer A: What does flag represent in profile's statistics?
The number `4` on your picture is a link to the `Flag History` page. You could click on it and see details for those flag that were raised by you. A flag has three states: `helpful`, `declined`, `pending`. It also contains short statistics (summary): ``` N flags K helpful, M declined, P pe...

Answer A: Giving question feedback in private - a moderating system to reduce conflicts
I strongly against of the idea of a private feedback for the reasons that were already named in other answers. No point to repeat them one more time. But I find an idea of the `Sandbox`, `Workshop`, whatever we call it amazing. Moreover in a different community I had proposed something similiar ...

Question What will happen to comments when account is removed?
Today there was a request to remove user's account. This user has some Qs which were transported(converted) to System user. But comments are disappeared. Though there is a possibility that user removed all they comments manually before requesting deletion I don't think this is the case. Anyway...

Question Search via clicking by a tag displays incorrect category of an item
If one searches / filters result by a tag (by clicking on one of them) the all items in a list have a badge that indicates current category instead of correct one. For example, when I click on `mvvm` tag in Software Development community with `Code Reviews` as a selected category I receive that: ...

Question Add vertical scrollbar to the community dropdown
It seems like community dropdown has no restriction on a height (or it is too big) so it doesn't look fine on displays with small sizes: dropdown It would be great if this list couldn't occupy more than some specific height with an additional scrollbar if needed. I know I can use general scr...

Answer A: Should users without the ability to review suggested edits see the 'suggested edit pending...' text if they cannot see the diff?
I think this is "by-design" and the behaviour is good as is. Currently user can see that there is a pending edit to a post so they cannot suggest another option. And, actually, it is good: Some other QA communities allow multiply edits, so history of a Q contains lots of similar changes from ...

Question Why was this answer to the volunteer-discussion removed?
For what reasons post (answer or question) might be removed by moderator / staff ? I do not ask about obvious reasons like `spam`, `off-topic`, `base rule violations`, etc here. Context: history. history Obviously, author of the post wasn't agreed with decision. To my opinion this ans...

Question What does "status-declined" tag mean when it's added to discussion type of questions?
Meaning of the `status-declined` tag is clear in case of `feature request`, `bug` type of question or, even, flags. But "discussion"? It's confusing. Context: Voluntariness vs. Responsibility, which of them should be considered as a priority for the community team? Initially I've thought it is ...

Answer A: Let us have a transparent review system.
> In order to have a transparent review system without any possible suspicion, I want to suggest that any suspended user be allowed to bring their issue up on Meta.Codidact together with the following additional condition: In fact it's not a suggestion. Idea? Maybe, but key details are missing. Ab...

Answer A: No shadow is not enough disabled.
I count current style is good enough to keep it as is. Moreover I personally wouldn't even notice all currently proposed changes (opacity, transparency, cursor, etc) - I don't care about design while it's decent. To be honest I'm a bit surprised to see this kind of Q here: Do we really have to di...

Answer A: Does Codidact want to silence its users as SE does?
I truly understand your concerns. I'll try to address at least some of them. If you don't understand some actions or disagree with them try to clarify whether you got the situation correctly. That's life: mistakes happen. In case of closed Q try to set flag to the post and describe your thoughts [...

Question How can one remove their account ?

Answer A: Should we have "Last seen" times?

Question Unclear changes in the history of edits
Looks like empty & meaningless edits are allowed by system. For example these Qs: https://meta.codidact.com/posts/74817/history https://meta.codidact.com/posts/74880/history Unclear whether it is a bug or "by design" but I think it should be changed anyway.

Question Replenish votes statistic with "Other" block to make it complete
Currently votes for blog posts are counted in total but there are no rows for this type in additional, expanded grid ("on Question", "on Answer") votes This may confuse new users since usually one expect that sum by rows is equal to overall amount. At least it puzzled me a bit initially.

Question What's a relation between trust levels across various Co-communities?
Initially I thought that "Trust levels" feature is independent for each CoDidact community. But it seems that I was wrong: When I joined to `Languages and Linguistics` I was able to give an upvote for some questions & answer. Is it "by-design", "bug" or maybe these restrictions isn't applied...
