Answer A: More answer feedback -- Reactions are coming to Codidact
Bug There is no way to cancel/discard reaction's box after it was opened. reaction's box Edit: Feature-request This is not a bug as I thought initially, that's good but the way it's implemented isn't obvious in a current form indeed. I think an additional button with clear "Clos...

Answer A: Enlarging the chance that clarification-question comments would be modular
While I somewhat agree with your concerns I don't think providing some additional system that checks comments is a good idea (second suggestions). Especially across all communities. Here is my thoughts: Such hint would annoy some users, myself included. The less system intrudes to communicatio...

Comment Post #282962 _If that is happening, then I agree that is a bug and the question should be changed to say that. ... What the question states is that new content (i.e. a comment) is associated with the account._ 100%, but I'd personally expect that one can't create a new content iff the account is removed. All b...

Comment Post #282962 _I didn't quote anything, I paraphrased._ Yes, you're right. I didn't know that the word "paraphrase" exists in English so forgive me that my comment is strictly speaking isn't totally correct. But I hope it is still clear what I meant.

Comment Post #282962 This is simply wrong. If you quote something give it with a full context. > At present, this will mean that any content associated with your account on that site will be unlinked from your account and attributed to System, which will not be reversible later. Contents are still belong to Istiak‭...

Comment Post #282921 @#53922 That's not what I wrote. Moreover I didn't mention meta at all. The very first sentence in the my comment above "cause you're joining automatically when you're following a link". By "a link" I meant a reference to some other community. Like, for example, in this Q [Please, don't kill Olin Elt...

Comment Post #282921 @#8082 cause you're joining automatically when you're following a link. I'd never join EE as well as some other codidact communities. I see no reason to have an account in a community iff I'm not going to participate there in any form so I'd prefer to remove my account from there.

Answer A: Threaded comments are here!
Flags > You can now flag individual comments. Not sure whether it's by design or not but I'd prefer to have ability to flag a comment not only in a separate thread-comment page but from preview as well. Currently it shows like thread preview so I suppose `flag` link is missing here

Comment Post #282366 __Well, i guess my Q can then be closed as a duplicate of the second question/answer hkotsubo mentioned in their comment.__ I disagree. Comment Post #282366 I agree that's exactly what @#53078 is described. Take a look at the score formula: with `z = 2`: z ^ 2 = 4, (z ^ 2) / 2 = 2 we get `(upVotes + 2) / (allVotes + 4)` We can easily calculate scores of each answer: 4|0 = 0.75 = (4 + 2)/(4 + 4) = 6 / 8 = 3 / 4 7|1 = 0.75 = (7 + 2)/(8...

Answer A: Threaded comments are here!
Transition > With this change, all pre-existing comments have been moved into threads named "General Comments". It seems like this migration step doesn't cover notifications. They still use old "routes". I think it's probably OK to old ones (though I'd still like to have ability to retur...

Question "You were mentioned in a comment" notification doesn't redirect to another community
I got a `You were mentioned in a comment` notification while browsing SD. I tried to open it and instead of redirecting to the right community (Meta) it opened the reference in a current community. So, for example, instead of ``` https://software.codidact.com/comments/thread/3355#comment-11061...

Answer A: What does the round silver circle in the dashboard mean?
It is a status badge. A gray circle means that there is at least one post that you have not read (or, more strictly, saw/check) so far. If you navigate to a category with gray-status and then return back to the `Dashboard` page the status will be different. Also, if you keep a cursor for some...

Comment Post #281781 Downvote. I understand the reasons behind it and somewhere even agree. But to me such a big change should be discussed with community first. It doesn't look good to me. Question Reputation is disappeared from user's card recently
Not sure exactly when but for some time I don't see `r` in a user's card. From what I can tell it happens only on Meta and, for example, on SD it is still visible. An additional context: Heads up: small design changes, a better user card and some long-expected features Quote from there > Fro...
