+1 This is probably better than restricting usernames, since you can't possibly find all "bad" usernames and have no false negatives or false positives. (more) |

Question | — |
Restrictions on usernames This post asks to disallow usernames with only periods and spaces. I would like to propose disallowing any឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵឵ username with more than one consecutive space. Question | — |
Close inbox and site list after clicking anywhere When one clicks the inbox or the arrow that makes a list of sites show up, clicking elsewhere doesn't close them - you need to click on the inbox or arrow icon again to make their respective dropdowns close. This is a little time-consuming and counterintuitive, in my opinion. It's a very low prior... (more) |

This isn't enough for an answer, but do we need a policy specifically for homework dumps? I feel a homework dump, as you have defined it, can be closed just because the OP has not done enough research or the question is unclear/poorly formatted. The 422 error may be because your message was too short. Could you try sending a longer message? (more) |

Question | — |
o@ßX shows up as [email protected]ßX On the first comment here, `o@ßX` was turned into [\[email protected\]](https://codegolf.codidact.com/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection)ßX. Email protected However, when I go to the comment thread, it shows up normally: Normal text Oddly enough, I couldn't reproduce this on the d[]()ev server. I... (more) |

@#8046 I did (and tried it in a Private Window), but the same error popped up again, hence the meta post. I guess I should have tried simply making my message longer. (more) |

Question | — |
Cannot start new comment thread on the dev server I tried creating new comment threads here and here, but I was met by this message: 422 unprocessable Now, I can totally understand that everyone feels down from time to time, but I would like to know why the server's sulking, and when it could stop sulking. Perhaps it would like some ice cream? ... (more) |

Sandbox to test formatting and other features? There doesn't seem to be a sandbox to play with site such as formatting, deleting, etc. here or on other sites. Could such a sandbox be made to help people experiment? (more) |

I agree that this isn't an essential feature. Perhaps there could be a setting to turn it off or opt into it? (more) |
