Question How to edit a post for small modifications without affecting the visibility of other posts?
Related: Could we have a way to edit without bumping posts? Motivation I usually edit my own posts a lot of times in order to improve them. This put the corresponding post on top of the "main post page list" (for e.g. meta.codidact.com). However, most of the time I do very little changes...

Question TOC display problem after answer deletion
Describe the bug After deleting an answer(s), the table of contents can still be displayed even if there are less answers than the "number of answers to trigger the TOC" and even if there is no answer to the question (in this case the `Table of Contents` button is displayed but clicking it has no ...

Comment Post #288974 Sorry I was a little in a hurry and I put a comment too quickly on my mobile. Next time I will read more carefully before to "try to help"... Anyway, thanks for this very complete bug report regarding a seemingly quite insidious bug!

Comment Post #288769 Also I would like to start a bit of discussion regarding if we can set up a kind of "general recommendations" regarding the use of usernames in question/answer pots [as pointed in this answer](https://meta.codidact.com/posts/276600/288747#answer-288747). Because if the user change their name or delet...

Comment Post #288769 Tanks for this update! I think this answer will be more used as an "text box" on top of [the linked answer](https://meta.codidact.com/posts/288693/288695#answer-288695) (as it is made for duplicates, "the blue rectangle" or like a quoted text). It would be like an announcement about the fact that th...

Comment Post #288762 I assume that is it not a good idea to create a lot of new post type because it could be a mess. And I'm pretty sure that this one would not be very used (but me I will definitely use it as soon as there are two solutions to compare!). I think that might help guide opinion-based discussions a bit...

Comment Post #288762 In order to avoid any misunderstanding, I specify the "recap table" (this name is definitely ugly...) could be used to compare solutions with pro/cons columns and not just summarize them (as shown [in the linked example in the question](https://meta.codidact.com/posts/288693/288694#answer-288694)) or...

Comment Post #288762 Thank you very much for introducing me to this TOC. I think it's really a good feature! I like your idea to edit the top of answers to change the summary (however the answers are not freely editable, but I think it is still an interesting idea).

Comment Post #288748 Good points thank you. I make an edit after you comment. If you think it is too much opinion based I would be glad to make a second edit ;-). To avoid misunderstanding, for me this new post type could be use, not only for answer review/comparison, but also for listing goods answer related to a topic ...

Question Link associated with a deleted username, in a comment thread, redirects to the top of the current page. #1089
Describe the bug The name of a deleted user in a comment thread appears with a clickable link. This link redirect to the top of the current page (tested in "main" view and in comment thread view) To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: 1. Go to https://meta.codidact.com/posts/282342/2...

Question New post type: a recap table
Motivation I often want to use a table to: - Compare different solutions (for example, solutions addressing a new feature-request). - List related posts and duplicates (some topics can be extremely diluted in dozens of posts in a community or even spread over several communities. In this case it...

Answer A: Can I use @Username to notify users from within my question or answer?
If this feature (i.e. notifying user in Q&A body content by "@Username") is NOT implemented, then (IMHO) it should not be allowed at all to write @Username because: - If the user pointed to by @Username changes their username or deletes their account, then the @Username will not be relevant (becau...

Comment Post #280058 Ok thanks. I come from TeX community on SE and *community wikis* are not very used but quite useful when there are (maybe because TeX users seems to be rigorous people and the post is usually very good.) It is also very used in Meta for discussion or recap or in order to make a post which summarize a...

Question How to keep displayed usernames unique even if the user account is deleted?
Motivation On Stack Exchange (SE) I could have a really hard time following a discussion in comments between multiple users if one of the users deleted their account or changed their username. Here on Codidact, this "problem" seems to be handled much better as the username seems to change when ...

Comment Post #288695 Thank you very much for this answer, I will definitely use this! When you say that you lack time to develop the site, am I to understand that I must refrain from making feature-requests in the future? Answer A: A feature-request status page
EDIT after follow-up comments thread (where links for tags tab and status are given) and answer: The solution proposed here already exists so it is irrelevant. The pro/cons part could still be used to compare the current solution and the solution with a "status page" (#1 in the table below)... Sim...

Comment Post #288693 a rejected feature-request could be "closed for discussion" during a given period of time, for e.g. 1 year, but re-open after (or earlier with moderator intervention after flag raise for e.g.) because the context can change (but this is another question...).

Question A feature-request status page
Motivation I have the feeling (obviously biased ;) that some feature requests get forgotten over time. I absolutely do not claim that it is anyone's fault but that they naturally become less visible over time because they are less active (it's a guess). Based on this assumption, the question is...
