Answer A: Post on Stack Exchange and Codidact
> Is there any problem on me posting on Codidact an exact copy of the (new) questions I post in Stack Exchange? When posting in Codidact you implicitly agree to the terms of service, code of conduct, and privacy policy. When posting in Stack Exchange other conditions apply. I can see nothing...

Comment Post #278266 Yesterday it had less than five downs, I'm fine enough with most active first if that's what's happening.

Comment Post #278266 Hit + because if this is not duplicate, it is the first to raise an important point. But no, absolutely not, your expectation is hugely wrong.

Comment Post #278267 Almost. "You can expect volunteers to take responsibility for doing the task they accept well", but have no right to demand such responsibility.

Answer A: Why can users get negative reputation?
My guess: Because they used a signed integer type for rep, therefore it's not capped at 0. (And hypothesizing that because of lazyness and simplicity rep substraction performs just a substraction instead of a capped substraction). ``` rep := rep + -penalty; ``` vs: ``` rep := (rep +...

Comment Post #278102 Strong agree, and also 'collapse i "New answer to your question 'whatever...'" notifications into a single "i new answers to your question 'whatever...'"'.

Comment Post #278101 `if someone has a good proposal why not contact them directly?` <== we do that all the time ==> this is not a case because I thought reactions would be mixed instead of mostly positive

Comment Post #278100 If you think there is room for discussion, how about porting this suggestion to a new question? If you think there is not, how about directly opening a pull request with this?

Comment Post #278007 Those new four are either seemingly right to me, or about communities unknown to me, or maybe apparently wrong to me but if so having nothing to use as a counter.

Question These URLs return a broken page
Can forge https://meta.codidact.com/questions/ and https://software.codidact.com/questions/. There are two problems with that: 1. It won't list anything until clicking any of the Activity | Age | Score | Lottery buttons. 2. I wanted to report that, so I clicked “Ask Question”. Boom! Error 500 hap...

Answer A: Would like written chat.
Strongly disagree! Stack Exchange reinvented the wheel with is chat - IRC existed. Then Discord again reinvented that wheel. We are using this, come join us! Now here is no place to reinvent the wheel yet another time, and there's also no room for that in expansion plan considering the curre...

Answer A: Why prefer Codidact to Stack Exchange?
> As I explained in this post and some community staff confirmed, Codidact is almost a miniature of SE. In fact, I see no radical difference between them. Codidact is being used since not long, that explains the similarities. Even so, there are huge differences below the sea level: Codidact is...

Answer A: Suggested edits don't show meaningful diff
I've seen the board assessing this problem as a high priority issue. Somewhere it's marked as medium priority, but that's not entirely true (in case someone has read). I could guess that this would be almost completely tackled in a matter of from several weeks to a few months. Meanwhile I'm wor...

Question auto re licensing
If this had a feature where one could set triggers for stuff, I'd use it to set up a trigger that re licenses all and each of my CC BY NC SA stuff to CC BY SA1 after each hits 50th year age. The good part is I have more than 49 years to lobby for this cause. \ > One major problem with ch...

Comment Post #277185 I'd love for codidact to have a music sub. I have participated in a similar initiative before. Not a big head myself but I enough to have used to play bass in a band with my friends ~50 gigs 2007-2012.
