Welcome to Codidact Meta!

Codidact Meta is the meta-discussion site for the Codidact community network and the Codidact software. Whether you have bug reports or feature requests, support questions or rule discussions that touch the whole network – this is the site for you.

Search

Advanced Search Options

To further refine your search, you can use additional qualifiers such as score:>0.5. For example, the search score:>=0.5 created:<1y grammar would return only posts mentioning "grammar" that have a score >= 0.5 and were created less than a year ago. Use category:<ID> to restrict your search to one category (the ID is what's shown after /categories/ in the URL).

Further help with searching is available in the help center.

Quick hints: tag:tagname, user:xxx, "exact phrase", post_type:xxx, created:<N{d,w,mo,y}, score:>=0.5

Q&A How can we improve community proposals?

When the site is launched there should be a way to notify those who showed interest in the community proposal. Otherwise, it may well happen that they do not get to know about it unless they track ...

It would be useful to have a basic listing of the current status of all the proposals. This way, we could have a good overview that would provide the basic details of each proposal. Using the sta...

Q&A Can we get a list of questions on a site currently nominated for the Community Promotions?

Right now I can only go off memory as to which questions I have nominated for the Community Ads unless I see them in the sidebar or try to renominate them. Can we get a list (not sure if it should...

Q&A Can we have customised text in the "Posting Tips" banner for each post type?

I think this is a bug. There is default guidance for answers that is different from that for questions, and a category can override either or both. This category does not override the answer guid...

Q&A We should delete all old imported content.

Writing already has consensus to delete unclaimed, untouched, imported posts. We should see how that changes things, and then the other two communities with large-scale imports can decide how they...

Q&A How can we make Codidact more friendly for askers?

Most of the sites are struggling to get questions and while it seems to me at least that more effort has been put into optimizing for the answerers than for the askers. To put it another way, ther...

Q&A What about having a category in Meta for documentation about the platform?

This is an interesting idea. We have help, but only moderators can edit it. We want documentation about the platform (as opposed to how our network or particular communities operate) to end up in...

Q&A Streamline the top? Move Meta to the top row?

I'm sorry, but I have to decline this one. Categories are a core feature of Codidact and an important implementation of our central and long-standing policy that communities should be the ones who...
