Welcome to Codidact Meta!

Codidact Meta is the meta-discussion site for the Codidact community network and the Codidact software. Whether you have bug reports or feature requests, support questions or rule discussions that touch the whole network – this is the site for you.

Search

Advanced Search Options

To further refine your search, you can use additional qualifiers such as score:>0.5. For example, the search score:>=0.5 created:<1y grammar would return only posts mentioning "grammar" that have a score >= 0.5 and were created less than a year ago. Use category:<ID> to restrict your search to one category (the ID is what's shown after /categories/ in the URL).

Further help with searching is available in the help center.

Quick hints: tag:tagname, user:xxx, "exact phrase", post_type:xxx, created:<N{d,w,mo,y}, score:>=0.5

Q&A User-configurable default sort order

The default sort order, apparently everywhere, is by "activity". I virtually never want this and prefer to sort by "age" as I want to see which questions are new. The feature request is to add a p...

Q&A Should we have a grace period of X minutes on edits or a way to mark changes as "minor"?

A "minor" toggle on edits makes sense even if there's no mechanism to hide minor edits from the history, if people can filter them out visually. I think this can serve some use; I've sometimes used...

This is still an early iteration of this feature, so we expect there to be requests for improvements or tweaks to it — post them here! A community should have the ability to reject a specific ...

Q&A Can we get a list of questions on a site currently nominated for the Community Promotions?

Right now I can only go off memory as to which questions I have nominated for the Community Ads unless I see them in the sidebar or try to renominate them. Can we get a list (not sure if it should...

Q&A Where’s my suggested edit?

I made an edit to a post on Software.codidact, and because I don’t have the Ability to edit, it says it’s pending a review. However, I was a bit surprised to see that it was still pending after mor...

Q&A Can we get an option to remove a post from the nominated posts list?

Moderators can now see a list of promoted posts and can remove a question from the list there. I acknowledge the imbalance: anyone with the Curate ability can nominate, but only moderators can rem...

Q&A Is there an RSS-feed for updates on individual questions?

I'd like to subscribe to updates on specific questions that I'm interested in. Is there an RSS-feed, or some kind of a "follow" feature that I can use to subscribe to updates — new answers, mainly,...

Q&A Can't open hamburger menu on this Meta when signed out

Q&A Extraneous pair of sign in/sign up buttons in menu

Not really a bug, but something that I noticed. Opening the menu will give a second set of [sign up] [sign in] buttons, even though there are already a pair on the navbar. Since it is redundant, it...

Q&A A badge! A badge for completing the Codidactyl Tour. Or even several badges!! And points!!

Now there is a comment cancellation pull request. The software is, for part of the stuff you could want, very easy to handle. I would totally recommend everyone suggesting their own changes.
