Answer A: How should we make pending edit suggestions more visible?
As a user who has to visit the Edits for each of the Software Development community, I can provide some feedback: - unify all edits into a single section. For now, it can be placed as another link next to Help (and Mod for the moderators). There are very few edit suggestions per time frame and I s...

Comment Post #280153 I agree that questions about Cloud technologies can be asked on Software development as long as they are related to the technical part (an offtopic question is [this one](https://software.codidact.com/posts/280223) ). By technical part I mean topics like configuring an authentication service, securit...

Answer A: How should we approach our (non-developer) software community proposals?
I would not merge everything together, but rather have the following communities: - leave Software Development as it is - Power User community separate and define a category for Office suites - have a Linux community. Linux OS (installation, configuration etc.) is an entire world that cannot mix...

Comment Post #280403 One quick way for potential answerers to indicate this is via comments. I saw this being used on Politics.SE (more frequently for questions in danger of being closed that for "normal" questions, but still...).

Comment Post #279299 I would also like to participate in such a community. I have a rather large experience of asking questions on Politics.SE, so I would be able to mainly contribute by asking questions. I am able to answer only questions related to Eastern Europe though.

Comment Post #280005 Reputation in the user card might be an incentive for some, so I agree with ghost-in-the-zsh‭. It should be so important, as it seems to be on SE network (simply asking a few popular questions gets you lots of points and privileges), but I would leave it visible by default.

Question Is there something like a pending edit review list?
I have recently stumbled across a post (cannot seem to find it again) that had a pending edit for about one month. This is very unpleasant for the user making the edit. I am wondering if there is a way for users having this right to approve pending edits to see a list of these items.

Comment Post #279384 That's good news :). Please consider providing extra information for [this question](https://meta.codidact.com/questions/278726) and they become available. Thanks.

Comment Post #278908 @MonicaCellio I think they should be on-topic until we find a better place for them (not sure, but SE had a Web Application site for this type of questions).

Comment Post #279076 I agree with OlinLathrop on this one. However, one can easily get used to Codidact as well. The first action is to jump and write a title. There is nothing that prevents me to change it later if I realize it does not fit the content.

Question How can I remove a tag?
I have just realized that a tag is redundant: angular-2+ since we have one for [angular] (as opposed with the old flavor, [angularjs]). I have removed it from the only question and I want to remove it. How can I do that? P.S. I have just realized that I can merge these two, but a direct removal...

Comment Post #278908 @Lundin That was just a temporary list to have a start. It was meant to be changed over time. Codidact Power User sounds very well btw :)

Answer A: A "Super user" like community to include Q&As about software applications usage
Based on provided feedback I will wrap up the proposal in this answer: The name Power User Codidact Backers / contributors This is the list of users that seem to support this community (did not manage to talk yet, they are deducted by me, feel free to add/remove). - Alexei - Monica Ce...

Question How many votes are required for special actions like close, reopen, delete or restore?
I am wondering about the number of votes required to perform the following actions: - close - reopen - delete - restore I have found this forum thread, but it is unclear what are the current values.

Comment Post #278840 @Sigma I think that video games (and similar such as board games) deserve a community of their own.

Comment Post #278833 @Monica Cellio - I also think Office suites is too narrow to have a single community for it. Yes, usage of all mainstream applications would fit.

Question A "Super user" like community to include Q&As about software applications usage
Update: launched We have currently several questions that do not seem to be very welcomed on Software Codidact (example). I think that many of these questions are interesting, but they do not seem to fit within the software (programming) community. However, they will fit in a "Super User" l...

Comment Post #278743 @Moshi - yes, per category makes more sense. E.g. In meta +1 mostly means "I agree" rather than "it is useful". This distinction is important for new users who might get some downvotes on meta simply because the community disagrees, not that the post includes incorrect information.

Question Let us have more relevant tooltips for up/down vote buttons
Sometimes when stumbling across a question I wonder if I should upvote / downvote or not. When this happened on SE sites, I hovered over the buttons and read the description. Currently, Codidact seems to inform me about the change in the total score (e.g. 0.666667), but this is not particularly us...

Question How to financially support the Codidact project?
The main Codidact page tells us that: > Our goal is to build an open-source platform for community-driven Q&A sites. We aim to welcome beginners and experts alike and to empower communities of learners and teachers. We'll fund it by seeking donations, not by paywalls, and work with individual com...

Question Show tooltip for tag when hovering over it
It would be nice if hovering on a question tag, a tooltip containing the whole HTML formatted usage guidance is shown.

Question How to make an edit that only changes the tag list by adding a tag that does not exist?
I tried to add a tag to an existing post by editing it and it failed because there was no actual post edit: No changes were saved did not edit the post After further tests, I realized that this happens only if the added tag(s) do not already exist (probably the validation sees no difference bec...
