Question | — |
Can we have a way to order the sites in the community switcher? As explained in the Recent feature changes to the Codidact software, in December 2020 we got: > Added community switcher (right side of the top bar). It works very well and it is very useful. Currently, it seems to me that is displaying the sites in the same order as they are in the dashboard, ... (more) |

Question | — |
Should we have a grace period of X minutes on edits or a way to mark changes as "minor"? I normally spend quite a lot of time writing my posts. However, after posting them I read them again and normally find some subtleties that I want to change: some commas, a better title, these kind of things. These are not relevant changes and I don't expect them to be part of the history of the p... (more) |

Mmm, true, I keep forgetting about it. The fact that in SE it made the link user-dependant made me reluctant to use it in some cases. To me, it would make sense to have this implemented somewhere in the future. Also, may it be useful for the SEO? Thanks, Monica! (more) |

Question | — |
"Copy link" does not work in Safari 12.1 I am using Safari Version 12.1 (14607.1.40.1.4). Whenever I want to copy a link using the "Copy Link" button, it does not work and throws this error in the console: ``` TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'navigator.clipboard.writeText') ``` Further info here: Error in con... Great, thanks. Would it make sense to post questions on _why_ something is like this or like that, so we can "import" the conclusions of the debates in the forum? (more) |

Question | — |
Can the title of the question be a "clean" link to the question itself? Sometimes I find myself browsing through the site and want to share a question. If I arrived through a link to an answer, I do not have a good way to "clean" the URL and be able to get the URL of the question itself. If we had this link, this would become easier to do: just click on the title and ... (more) |

Question | — |
Where can I find the discussions over the general approach of Codidact? I am visiting Codidact regularly and enjoying to see the creation of this set of communities. When in Somewhere Else, I used to browse through old discussion threads, as well as a podcast or blog, to understand why some decisions were made. That helped me a lot to get the touch of the site, its evolu... (more) |

I can reproduce it as well. Also, the answer you posted there does not have history: https://scientific-speculation.codidact.com/posts/279568/history It must be related to the migration that was done after which some data is temporarily missing. (more) |

@KingDuken that's a very good find. I could reproduce that (no error when there is not a post from me; error where there is) so I am adding the info into the post. Thanks! (more) |

Question | — |
Should users without the ability to review suggested edits see the 'suggested edit pending...' text if they cannot see the diff? I just found a post that has a suggested edit pending on it: >Post with a "suggested edit pending" The problem is that I don't have the privilege to review edits (or whatever name it has) so clicking on it does not produce any output. Should I be able to see the suggested edit? I would sa... (more) |

Question | — |
The history diff does not highlight tags being added When a post is edited to just include a tag such as [tag:status-completed], the diff rendered in its history does not show any difference. Question | — |
Initial revision of a question missing in its history I noticed that the initial version of a question is missing in its history. The post Can we have a button to insert a table in posts? was asked on November 25, and on November 29 marked as [tag:status-completed]. However, in its history there is just the last action, not the initial revision. I... (more) |

Question | — |
Missing image in "Answer scoring and ordering" article of the Help center In the Help center article Answer scoring and ordering there is an image with a broken URL, so it does not render: >Current view of this help center page, with a broken image As you see, the image linked with https://meta.codidact.com/assets/scoringtable.png is not present in the server, so it ... Question | — |
Can we have a button to insert a table in posts? Since tables are now available (hooray!), it can be helpful to users to include a reference in the format buttons of the post. So from the current set of icons: > Current design of buttons when editing a post We can add another one like the last one here (using the `fa-table` element in Fon... (more) |

Question | — |
Can "last activity" provide more context on what it was that happened? Currently (November 2020), the list of questions displays a "last activity" under each one of them. It refers, obviously, to when and who made the last action in the Q&A thread and links to the user that did that. However, there are cases where the activity is not obvious or, to put it simply, it ... (more) |

Excellent, thanks Monica. I like the idea, in my life I have spent hours jumping from a random Wikipedia article to another through their 'random' link and I am sure doing this in Codidact will be fun as well. Maybe in the future some conditioms can be added, sich as questions with a certain score, n... (more) |
