Question Let's have the same icon for moderators across views
Currently the moderator icon is not consistent across views. See for example this post by Jirka Hanika, a moderator in Linguistics: >Post user card detail And then see who it looks in his/her profile page: >Profile page detail Both icons mean the same, but are different. Would it be in...

Comment Post #284460 Oh, I just learned the button is a toggle, thanks @#8046. It is not obvious, but I don't know what is the best way to make it easier to understand. Most probably, a `x` in the modal would help.

Question The letter "ৡ" shows as a "?" in a community generated link to a question
I saw a banner pointing to the question What does the letter do ৡ in Bangla? from the Languages & Linguistics site. The image shows like this: > Image with a broken char And currently it is hosted exactly in https://languages.codidact.com/ca/posts/286095.png As you can see, the "ৡ" Bangla...

Comment Post #280151 @ArtOfCode OK. Now I no longer use that version, and this works well in Safari 14. In any case, Safari 12 is not so old, it was shipped on March, 2019.

Comment Post #280952 I added one ad to [Spanish.SE's Community Promotion Ads](https://spanish.meta.stackexchange.com/a/4408/1674). It needs to reach a net score of 6 to start showing in the site. In SO, [ArtOfCode's post](https://meta.stackoverflow.com/a/394417/1983854) gathered a lot of votes and it shows from time to t...

Answer A: Future planning: what user preferences would be useful?
It would be great to have a way to define where the preview is showed: above, below, or next to the text editor

Comment Post #280407 @Olin Lathrop you are right, updated. Also, I noticed categories can consist in just a post, no need to Q&A, so I also included that in.

Question What about having a category in Meta for documentation about the platform?
I keep learning about the hard work that has been done in Codidact over time. There are many little things that are known by the veterans, but may not be easy to understand for the newcomers like me. For example, yesterday I learnt that the Table of contents below a question shows by default if th...

Comment Post #280391 @Monica excellent! I have worked very hard in the i18n of SE, and also in some open source projects. Since I am Spanish native speaker, count on me whenever there is a need to start doing steps in that direction.

Answer A: Future planning: what user preferences would be useful?
Choosing the language of the interface. In my experience in non English sites from SE, not having a user interface in their own language was a major obstacle for many users that would otherwise have joined and participated more often. If we foresee a future where communities can accept posts in...

Comment Post #280382 @Monica Cellio that is a good idea! Say "basic description" vs "extended user info". I had thought on a toggle for every item (twitter account, etc), but your solution seems easier and to me it would be very useful (twitter account can be put in the extended characters, etc).

Answer A: Future planning: what user preferences would be useful?
Currently, the user profile has these fields: - Avatar - Username - Profile description - Website URL - Twitter account When in a community, I sometimes feel like sharing some of my personality with those in the community: who am I, what I like, etc. However, what refrains me from doing it ...

Comment Post #280347 @ArtOfCode well I was meaning this list to just contain the posts of the specific user. More or less the structure of the "Questions" and "Answers" sections of a user profile in SE, only that having all the info together, for example.

Answer A: Future planning: what user preferences would be useful?
I would enjoy having a network profile, where I could see all the posts and comments I have posted over time.

Comment Post #280084 @Monica Cellio yes! Now I can see it. Now I understand: since there was a pending edit, and thus I couldn't suggest any, the "edit" button didn't show at all.

Comment Post #280346 @Monica Cellio. Exactly, for example now I just noticed my rep has gone up some tens and to know where they come from I have been browsing through my posts. Comparing its score with the one that stores my faulty own brain caché is quite buggy :D

Comment Post #280302 Aaaah, @luap42 that does make much more sense :) Still, something more automatic would be also great... in the long run, of course. Just mentioning it here for the future.

Answer A: Future planning: what user preferences would be useful?
A succinct list of posts, the time they were posted and its current score, as well as the last time they were active. (and maybe show how many comments they have)

Answer A: Future planning: what user preferences would be useful?
Some way to track the votes you are receiving. Some kind of "reputation timeline" that explains which posts were voted upon over time. It may not be used in the long run if reputation is removed entirely, but currently it is a good way to show the success of a post. This may be specially useful...

Comment Post #280302 @luap42 not sure if this would be the same. If I show interest in a specific community being built, I may _just_ want to be notified about that one, not about the rest.

Answer A: How can we improve community proposals?
It would be useful to have a basic listing of the current status of all the proposals. This way, we could have a good overview that would provide the basic details of each proposal. Using the status- tags, this should do quite doable. In the future (1), there could be a timeline of each prop...

Answer A: How can we improve community proposals?
When the site is launched there should be a way to notify those who showed interest in the community proposal. Otherwise, it may well happen that they do not get to know about it unless they track the category Site proposals constantly.

Comment Post #280211 Good point. While useful, the logic of the grace period can become a bit cumbersome. Still, in 95% of the cases it works quite well.

Question Can the post history show a link to the suggested edit when an edit was done this way?
I suggested an edit to a post a while ago. The link to the suggestion can be found browsing through the activity in my user page. However, it does not show in the post history, where you can see: > Post edited by fedorqui‭ · 2020-12-31T12:33:44Z (6 minutes ago) include [community-switcher] ...

Comment Post #280154 I see. In web browser you can do this by double clicking on the right hand side of the title box, somewhere without text. This will select the full box of the title. But yes, it can be a bit unpractical
