In my opinion whether to auto-expand all comments or not could be a user settings. Don't blacklist characters or character ranges, instead whitelist character ranges. In my opinion, just whitelist characters in the ASCII range. (more) |

However such a restriction would be implemented - whether it would be denial of creating violagting user names, or the system _automatically_ replacing a violating user name with a auto-generated name - as long as it is not a manual process i personally wouldn't mind whatever approach is chosen... It's not almost certainly not Helvetica, it _definitely_ is not Helvetica. Just look at the lowercase `g` and compare it with [Helvetica's lowercase `g`](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Final_tipo.png). If the issue persists also with a clean new browser profile, try changing the fixed-width font Chrome uses for mono-spaced text and see whether this will fix the issue. You can do so in the `chrome://settings/fonts` page in Chrome. (more) |

My confusion was stemming from not being aware of the As affected by the swapping having the same score, and that randomizing the order of As with same score is intentional. When creating a new comment thread, the UI covers up most of the Q/A. When adding a comment to an existing comment thread, a completely new page opens up only with that comment thread.
