A: Request: Headings and footnotes act as link anchors Fancy Heading This is technically already possible using HTML: just add an `id` attribute to your header tags: ``` Fancy Heading ``` Going to `/questions/123456#fancy-heading` will now send you straight to that heading - even if it's in an answer. Given that this is already possible and... (more) |

A: Why isn't the text editor in the same font as what posts are? Nothing earth-shattering, really, just what made sense to me. Markdown is technically a markup language, which feels more correct to me in a monospace font. (Plus I also find monospace easier to read, but that might just be me :) ) (more) |

A: Hot Posts link to Blog leads to 404 Looks like we were assuming everything in the hot posts list was a question. I've changed it to use a post-type-aware helper now; this should be fixed, pending deploy. (more) |

A: No favicon appears on main site (codidact.com) The codebase for codidact.com is not the same as the software that runs the Q&A sites, so there are a few disparities like this one. I've just added the icon there too, you should see it appear in the next few hours. (more) |

This is already on-topic at [Software Development](https://software.codidact.com), to start with at least - questions about AWS can go there unless the community decides they're not a good fit. (more) |

A: Unable to upvote proposal This has been fixed - thanks! Turned out to be part of our anti-abuse systems being a little overzealous - we've given it a lecture on being more certain next time. (more) |

A: How can I conveniently opt out of Codidact analytics? We have analytics in use because they're helpful. The data the analytics system collects for us highlights where we're doing well (or not) and what people are using (or not), as well as helping to identify the sources of traffic spikes and dips. Having that knowledge is genuinely useful in helping t... (more) |

@DonielF New sites don't get added to the footer and to codidact.com for a while after they're launched, so that we can get any initial setup done and the community can decide on an initial tagline to use. (more) |

A: What are the steps between community idea and community proposal? An [idea] is for when you have an idea for a site but you don't have the community to go with it. The hope is that by posting it here, you find like-minded folks who will help you build the site. A [proposal] is for ideas that do already have a community, or for [idea]s that have successfully foun... (more) |

A: Subscriptions graph doesn't make sense This is by design. The users you're seeing created before the site... well, they were - they're user accounts that were created elsewhere before EE launched (like mine - which is one of those on Dec 8), and then had a profile created on EE through using the site. Since user accounts are shared across... (more) |
