A: We should delete all old imported content. I broadly agree, with two main caveats, one about what to delete, and one about how we go about it. By "what to delete", I'm looking at your point that: > We may lose a few stray locally-grown answers to old questions I haven't done the queries to confirm this, but I suspect that number is r... A: Recent feature changes to the Codidact software December 2021 - Show when a post has been edited on the post itself - Only render HTML tags that we support in post previews - Allow access to deleted post histories only if the user can see the deleted post - The react button is removed if there are no enabled reactions November 2021 - Fla... A: "Empty" posts can be created with invisible Unicode characters I've fixed this for a bunch more of these characters, but there are endless numbers of Unicode characters that can be abused to do things like this. Solution: don't do this. (more) |

A: Where’s my suggested edit? Your edit is to a post on Software Meta, but you're looking at the queue for Software Q&A. If you look at the edit queue for Meta, you'll find it's in there. (more) |

I've removed the offending post manually. Posts are promoted for 28 days, so if you add them as the challenges are created they'll expire roughly in time. (more) |

@msh210 It was only about three hours ago that I deployed the fix, so that would make sense. (more) |

A: Duplicate "Sign out" buttons on mobile I'm not going to call this by design because it wasn't actually intentional, but it does actually make sense. The sign out button on desktop is in the site switcher, so it's consistent to have it there on mobile as well. On the other hand, first-time mobile users are more likely to look for it in the... The Abilities rollout (or, how not to do deployments) We recently deployed the Abilities system, replacing our old and rusty reputation-based privileges system with a shiny new granular, activity-based system for granting abilities. We spent months working on the system and we’re pleased to finally have it up and working – but the process of getting the... (more) |

@MonicaCellio That'll be pre-existing errors. I'll try to run an update, but it may not catch every case. (more) |

This is completed as far as I can tell. Edits being applied updates last activity, and the bug of answers failing to has been fixed. (more) |

@Alexei as luap mentioned here and as you can see around the site, reputation is included in the user card by default and is still being used in our current user cards. (more) |

Question | — |
Community-promoted network posts have arrived We've had a number of requests for a "Hot Network Questions"-like feature, promoting good content from around the network. That's more complex than it sounds on the surface, because there's no easy automatic way to determine what "good content" looks like, especially when all our communities are diff... (more) |

A: No button to edit or suggest edits on articles Fixed, thanks! The system was actually working exactly as designed, but articles were marked as not being publicly editable. I've flipped that over again now, so you should see links as normal. (more) |

Question | — |
Posts are now all under a single umbrella Ever since we introduced articles to Codidact, posts have been referred to with their post type. The URL to get to a question or answer would be `/questions/12345`, and to get to an article would be `/articles/12345`. As of today, that's no longer the case. All posts now live under `/posts` and us... (more) |

A: The bottom left corner of the border around quoted text is not rounded. This is by design — it gives the quotes a sort of speech-bubble type look. (Not exactly, admittedly, but any more detail requires ridiculous amounts of CSS...) (more) |
