Whatever is on the contact form is guaranteed to be working and will allow for private matt...

Question Allow use of slugs in category and tag routes
Currently, we pass an ID in urls for the category and tag routes. For instance, the Q&A category on this meta site has an ID of 3. In the long term, this makes it harder for people to access content. For instance, a user can't navigate to (Codidact meta)/categories/3/tags/status-completed to see p...

Comment Post #282165 The check that decides what text to render in that location was checking for an ability with internal name 'edit_post', while the actual ability is called 'edit_posts' (note the 's'). Fix submitted, should be merged in the near future and all will be well with the deploy after merge

Comment Post #281882 @JohnDoea I've gone into the support ticketing system and updated the relevant template. Those emails should now include a copy of the text you submit with a ticket next time you file a ticket. Thanks for the report.

Comment Post #281311 The issue with 500 flag errors has been resolved in code via commit 59dcb6b, however the fix will not be available on site until the next deploy (next time site version at bottom of page is changed).

Comment Post #281449 Have we considered changing the thresholds to be lower by default in the code, and then adding a setting that we can flip to bump them up, when the site is deemed to be "mature" and "active", thus requiring higher thresholds?

Answer A: Meaningful hovertext for voting area
The tooltip value is what appears to be the post's score (see here for the relevant code), which in the case you are showing appears to be 0.5 internally. If you have any feature requests, they can be passed onto the developers via GitHub, where these issues are typically tracked.

Answer A: Codidact marketing for community posts
Everything below is my opinion and not that of the Codidact project or any other user. > We currently let users with the Curate ability promote posts across the Codidact network. Should we choose some subset of these for promotion? We should allow some sort of process like the similar to occur:...

Answer A: Broken link on abilities page.

Answer A: Can't open hamburger menu on this Meta when signed out
This issue has been resolved by adjusting the dismissal logic for the user first visit notice, which was blocking the hamburger menu from working properly. The changes referred to in this answer have been already deployed and are live.

Comment Post #278726 By way of example, I am mentioning Open Collective (https://opencollective.com), which is a reputable system for handling contributor payments (they are used by webpack and curl, just to name 2 examples), in case an interested staffer comes across this post looking for relevant systems.
