A: Option to sort answers by Age I posted this feature request because I'd like to see the option to sort by Age, for those occasions where I'd find it useful or interesting. I definitely do not want to change the default sorting order. I like the current default of sorting by Score. I would still use Score and Active most freque... (more) |

I agree that the default sorting order should remain by score, not chronological order.
I posted this feature request because I'd like the option to be able to sort by age *on occasion* - not as a default. (more) |

For me, I'd use it most often on Code Golf Codidact, where answers are competing solutions to coding contests. I sometimes like to see the answers in the order they arrived to see how new strategies emerged and then went on to be reused or adapted in later answers.
Similarly on Meta where the answ... (more) |

Question | — |
Total number of search results At the top of the posts page, the total number of posts shows. At the top of the search results page, there is not a total number of results. I would find the total number useful on the search results page. It would help me decide whether my search terms were sufficiently specific before deciding ... (more) |

Title text (tooltip/hovertext) shows on unrelated parts of the page GitHub issue: - https://github.com/codidact/qpixel/issues/1109 []()At the top of the posts list, the total number of posts is shown on the left. Hovering the mouse pointer over this number shows the title text. This is currently set to be the same number as is already showing, so perhaps it w... (more) |

A: "Random from user" ad template, for "selfish sharers" like me More suitable for sites with Challenges than Questions For me personally, I'd most like a "Random from user from Category", so I could have an ad that shows a randomly chosen one of my posts from the Challenges category on Code Golf Codidact. Since Challenges are still open to new answers regardles... (more) |

Question | — |
"Random from user" ad template, for "selfish sharers" like me I like the "Random from Category" and "Specific post" ad templates. I've recently been a "selfish sharer" and used the "Specific post" template to share one of my own questions. This made me wonder if there are any other "selfish sharers" out there who might like to be able to share their own ques... (more) |

Question | — |
Markdown version of ad templates for sites that don't support HTML I recently changed my username on a site where I used to post coding challenges years ago, to make it clearer that I no longer post there (as I still occasionally receive comments that I may not see for a long time). While I was making a change, I thought I'd try adding one of the Codidact ad temp... (more) |

It's possible to disable the previous searches list with `autocomplete="off"` on the input tag, but I know that's not ideal as previous searches is useful functionality and the post_type filter is a relatively rare use case.
The z-index is already dialled up to 9999 so that doesn't help.

Occluded post_types filter list in search When searching using the "posttype" filter, a list of available post types automatically appears. Question | — |
Exact date and time of posting on touchscreen devices In the list of posts, or at the bottom of a post, there is an indication of how long ago it was posted. In a desktop environment with a mouse, hovering over this duration gives an exact date and time of posting. Is there a way we could present this exact date and time in a mobile environment where... Question | — |
MathJax rerenders on movement instead of on change I've noticed something when using MathJax while preparing/editing a post. Each time a change is made to the raw text, the preview rerenders accordingly. This is the behaviour I expect, which ensures the preview is always up to date. However, it also rerenders each time I move the text cursor, even if... (more) |

Communities drop down disabled when editing profile On most pages of Codidact there is a little drop down arrow at the very top right of the page, which usually displays a list of Codidact communities when clicked.
