Comment Post #282240 @#53686 > - Game Development might likely split off from Videogames CD if given enough support, but we'll see what happens. At some point, Game Development will split off of Videogames if given enough support.

Comment Post #284505 This HTML tag does indeed work on Codidact, but without the box that surrounds it. It's more like turning your text into <kbd>Consolas</kbd> without `code`.

Comment Post #283588 I don't think you get the point. You mentioned here, specifically about Software Development CD, all about the discussion in the general sites. Not what I'm talking about, really. Let's look back Somewhere Else, on the **meta** sites, not the main/general ones. It's about guidance on the network, ...

Comment Post #283018 @#53922 Are you implying that this is pretty much a dupe of Power Users CD? If so, I'll flag it to be closed.

Comment Post #283018 @#53922 I'm not so sure if it's supposed to be in Power Users CD. Here, phones and tablets are the talk. Are you saying we should rename the site for less confusion? If so, what is it?

Comment Post #283018 No, the thing is, an electronic gadget could have an OS that's running in it, preferably the mobile devices or other phones, like Nokia and Blackberry.

Comment Post #283018 @#53922 Not really just Android developers, but also Android users. Android Enthusiasts SE's usual questions are about guides in using Android devices.

Comment Post #283018 You could say that since I have a phone, we could technically have questions on Android with me. We'll figure out the scope soon.

Comment Post #282651 Both topics have quite a cross, and although they're completely different topics, their types don't differ. Both categories can mind both of their businesses, but if it gets bothersome, there might be the chance of splitting. With all that said, yeah, I (kinda) agree that a split can occur, but that'...

Comment Post #282653 But now that we got that ahead, let's also talk about the linking of RPGs and videogames. Sure, I wouldn't know exactly what're considered tabletop, but there is, if not a ton, an amount of RPGs that're indeed videogames. This could be discussed sooner or later, but what matters is that the site has ...

Comment Post #282653 This is indeed the biggest form of an answer I've seen here. I'm not going to give my thoughts on whether this could be a form of agreement or disagreement, but yes, this is indeed something to look after. After all, if communities don't seem to get along with their concerns and others applied on the...

Comment Post #282561 I'm a casual user of another Q&A site, specifically for homework of types, so maybe we can deal with some form of advice that could take the precautions of bland homework simply being answered with more bland answers. I see it all the time in there, so we'll need to figure out how to avoid such scena...

Comment Post #282328 As in your case asking *why* we should ask questions regarding the topic in Codidact because it's from SE doesn't mean it's not allowed. In many cases, since Codidact existed before SE did, most of their topics were, indeed, imported from SE to support a "better" environment for asking questions rath...

Comment Post #282621 @#53922 That's not what I'm trying to make you do. Don't add the text `Haha, ` and `funi.` into the MathJax labels, rather put them outside of it and keep the equation or mathematical bits into MathJax. What I'm suggesting here is not to exactly build a feature but add a detail where selected MathJax...

Comment Post #282578 > Does it make sense to limit this beyond the length limit for the comment as a whole? What would be a reasonable balance? I don't think you need to make the limit go even further in many cases. All I want is support for multi-line code blocks.

Comment Post #282240 @#8176 I think having a category for support questions isn't necessary and instead will fit in Q&A. After all, if we're talking about videogames, they're practically the same type and topic. A tag can be created named [support] for these questions.

Comment Post #282240 @#36396 To make things clear, a videogame is what we like to call computer games. [I found that on Wikipedia.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game) Though for some of us gamers, we tend to not call certain games videogames for whatever reason, despite them still being videogames since they are c...

Comment Post #282435 I can tell you can't speak proper English, but from my understanding, do you mean flagging questions/answers asking for a post you've made? Answers can't be flagged as dupes (unless it's a custom flag) so the best bet are probably questions which I rarely find when I'm online at all.

Comment Post #282433 I guess this proposal isn't too bad, but for a Q&A site, we have to define what's on-topic and not, and also a suitable audience enough to keep the site living. I know I'm speaking like I'm an SE mod (XD) but given on what I know, we need a basis on what the site should be like. Simply named Movies C...

Comment Post #282240 @#36366 This is exactly why we need to update the scope further. As for your questions about the scope, it's unclear to me why videogame recommendations would be useful in Codidact Q&As or even that of SE's, and simply promoting a game by something like "Please join this online game, really cool!!1!!...

Comment Post #282342 Agreeing with [**@Spevacus**](https://meta.codidact.com/users/53006) there, I like the new style of moderation for comments. This will definitely help with Code Golf CD sandbox feedback, as the comments could get real messy. The same thing would happen in CGCC anyway.
