Yes, the thread isn't active anymore, but I can still see it. At the bottom of the [example answer](https://software.codidact.com/posts/281168/281169#answer-281169), there's a "Show more" button. If I click it, [it shows there's a deleted thread](https://i.stack.imgur.com/Jt2pU.gif).

@#36363 I said that "I've seen many", I didn't mean "all". Actually, I can't even know about all, as I don't keep track of everyone who's suspended. But seeing those many cases is enough to make me be against your feature request, for the reasons already stated above.
And I don't think it's worth ... (more) |

@#36363 "*The assumption that suspended users can't grow up*" - Well, many of them unfortunately can't. I'm not sure about Codidact, but in SE I've seen *lots* of suspended users creating another account to circumvent theirs suspensions. Imagine if an account wasn't required, it would be even easier ... (more) |

`tt` is not one of the [allowed tags](/posts/277420), thus it's removed from the final rendered post. And revisiting my [old bug report](/posts/284503), I noticed that the tag is not removed from the markdown text (if you try to edit, you'll still see the tag there). It's just not rendered in the fin... (more) |

In the [data-import tag](https://meta.codidact.com/categories/3/tags/379) you can find lots of info about it - AFAIK you can import from SE, not sure about other sources (more) |

Although I agree that a front page like that gives a bad impression, it sounds to me that you're trying to treat the symptoms, not the cause.
If there are so many downvoted and/or closed questions, we should figure out why this is happening and attack those causes, in order to prevent it from happ... (more) |

I'm not an expert on all this license stuff, but is it allowed? I mean, once some content is published under license A, does A allow it to be changed to license B? I'm asking because I really don't know - as I said, I don't know the ins and outs of licensing, I don't even know if my question makes se... (more) |

Question | — |
Please add a dropdown menu when filtering by category In the search bar, when filtering by post type, a dropdown menu with all the available options is displayed: dropdown menu when filtering by post type Which is nice, as I don't need to know/remember which number means what. I just choose an option, and the respective number is filled for me. ... (more) |

@#8046 I believe the last edit made in the question clarifies all that was asked in the archived thread (motivations to support `br` in comments, how it's different from paragraphs, etc), and there's no need to un-archive it (actually, I wonder why it wasn't deleted, but I digress). (more) |

Wouldn't it be too cluttered when there are too many tags? Let's suppose this question becomes Hot, it would be shown as:
```
Q&A - [feature-request] [tags] [tag-hierarchy] [hot-posts] Include (major) tags as part of Hot Posts link
```
That's too cluttered IMO. Of course we can think of bette... (more) |

@#54114 "*At least when you're editing the post, you'll see it*" - When editing, the tag is rendered in the editor's preview. But after saving the post, it's removed (this inconsistent behaviour is [reported here](https://meta.codidact.com/posts/284503), BTW) (more) |

@#53922 The first link in the question goes to a page that has this list of tags. Anyway, I'm not asking about that. *I know* that `div` is not supported. The problem I'm reporting is that the editor's preview doesn't remove `div`'s, and I believe it should, for the sake of consistency (after saving ... (more) |

Actually, you can see both the answer and the question. On the top of a thread page, you can see "> Post" (clicking it shows the answer) and "> Parent" (clicking it shows the question). An image to make it clearer: https://meta.codidact.com/uploads/s3aJ1XCHzEPEzZDVUUkPxG4h (more) |

Question | — |
Although div tag is not allowed, it's rendered in the preview tl;dr According to this post, the `div` tag is not allowed, thus it's removed from posts. But it's not removed from the preview, and I believe both (the preview and the final saved post) should be consistent between each other. I've made this test on the dev server, using HTML that contains... (more) |

Sorry for not making my point clear: I don't see what `<br>` can do that the current way (ENTER twice) can't. Perhaps you should edit the question and make that clear. (more) |
— | about 3 years ago |
Comment | Post #284476 |
We can split passages by adding two line breaks between sentences. So if I press ENTER twice...
...it creates a new paragraph, like this :-)
A `<br>` will add a new line, but not a new paragraph (less spacing between lines, which means it'll be "less split" than paragraphs). (more) |

I've seen that it's already enabled. But I wonder if "*works for me*", "*outdated*" and "*dangerous*" are the best options for Meta (it might be the case in other sites, but in Meta, I don't think so).
Maybe "outdated" makes sense, but the other options, not much... (more) |

I agree that asking too many things at once is *usually* bad, for many reasons that don't fit in this space.
But I think the job of splitting the question should **not** be done by mods (or any other user). It's the *asker's* responsibility to do so.
Of course mods (and any other users) can provide... (more) |

I liked the notice, it really helps to avoid confusion, IMO. I just wonder if it makes sense when there's only one answer - because it says "*it's being shown above all other answers*" (but if there are no other answers, perhaps it shouldn't show the notice) (more) |

@#8046 Thanks for replying. I agree it'd be good to discuss the points you mention before making those configurable. Although I understand the reasoning behind how SE works in that matter, there are drawbacks on their system, and maybe we can find better ways to solve those problems... (more) |

When you say "*Reputation earned for upvotes and downvotes*", does it include the rep someone loses when they downvote an answer (or a question, or both)? I thought this was configurable. Is it? BTW, [here](https://meta.codidact.com/posts/280722) it says that "*Reputation earned for upvotes and downvotes*" is configurable, but IMO this sentence is not clear regarding this specific case (losing rep for downvoting answers). I'd appreciate if someone can ... (more) |

Question | — |
Answers order is changed when we access a specific answer by its direct link Not sure if this is a bug, or status-by-design (for now, tagged as bug just in case) When accessing an answer by its direct link, its order (relative to all other answers) is changed. Example: if I go to this question, the answers are displayed by Score (I guess this is the default?), with ... (more) |

Thanks for the answer. Do you know if the limit is set in stone or it's configurable (maybe per site/post type/etc)? I know I could just look at the source code, but I'm not that fluent in Ruby and couldn't find this info there... (more) |

@#53922 I've made a test in dev server and the limit is 30000 characters - I've updated the question with this info. Anyway, I'm still waiting for an "official" confirmation whether it's the same on production sites, if it's configurable per site/post type, etc. (more) |
