Answer A: Do SE users have the right to have their SE posts removed from Codidact? If so, how?
Yes. The Creative Commons license requires that attribution be provided by default, but also provides that if the author does not like the manner in which the licensed material has been used, they may require the attribution to be removed. This is the same principle under which Stack Exchange offers ...

Answer A: More social media/online communities to link to profile.
I'm [status-deferring] this one. Twitter is there because it was easy to implement, and because I know how the structure works. Linking to other social media is an idea that's been thrown around before, but would take up dev time on something that can be done equally well by just... putting the links...

Comment Post #74998 These are waiting for someone to convert them to raw HTML so they can go on codidact.com. If we need to make per-community exceptions, they can be noted in the network-wide terms and referred to the community-specific policy.

Answer A: What kinds of data import can QPixel support?
New & Improved Imports v3.0 is out now on a Codidact site near you. It takes data from the data dump where it can, fills in from the API where it can't, and lets you select exactly which posts to import by giving it a SEDE query specifying the post IDs to bring over. You can import anything that y...

Answer A: "Last activity" in question lists appears to ignore new answers
See this bug report on Writing meta - this is already fixed; you're just seeing old data now, but it shouldn't continue happening.

Comment Post #74980 Email isn't a secure mechanism, which is also part of the reason I've stayed away from SMS codes. That said, maybe it's enough to put an "are you sure - using an app is more secure" disclaimer before enabling it. The mobile QR-based login (phone icon, top bar) already basically does this, it'd just n...

Answer A: Let mail addresses be confirmed
This will be added with the next deploy. As aCVn said in a comment, these sites also support 2FA, for an extra layer of protection on your account.

Answer A: Bug reports: meta.codidact.com or codidact.org?
I'm assuming you mean forum.codidact.org, rather than just codidact.org? The former is a discussion forum; the latter is just a static site with nowhere that you could report anything. If that's the case, bug reports come here, not to the forum. The forum is there for discussions about feature des...

Comment Post #74951 And, while I'm here, what do you mean by an "associated notice"? I'd need to re-read the specs, but I'm pretty sure the Atom spec doesn't provide for that sort of thing, unless you're thinking of just prepending it to the post body/summary.

Comment Post #74951 What do you mean by "feature"? Simply bring that post back to the top? That's easy enough.

Comment Post #74947 I might be interested in participating in a cooking site... not sure whether we have _enough_ interest overall without getting an existing community interested, though.

Comment Post #74934 @MaskedMan The basic idea is that Q&A is the core concept; it works really well for a lot of things, which is why you see it mentioned in a number of places - it's "Q&A-based" software. That doesn't mean we stop there, though - we have other types of post planned.
