Question Code block copy button in more places, such as help documents
I find the copy button on code blocks in posts very useful. Could this also be added to code blocks in other places such as help documents? For example, the Template for Proposal Posts would be much easier to copy if there were a copy button.

Question Native sorting button blocks other sorting orders
The sorting buttons at the top of a category's post list include "Activity", "Age", and "Score", which are all orders into which to sort the posts. However, for sites with imported content they also include "Native". This is not a sort order, but a filter, showing only posts that were not imported. T...

Question Hover text on sorting buttons not available on mobile

Question Some code blocks extend into the right hand panel on desktop

Answer A: Get rid of minimum character requirements
Prevent zero only - I'm comfortable with preventing users from posting zero character comments and posts. - I agree there are times when insisting on 15 characters is unhelpful. - For comments, I see no reason to make the minimum higher than 1. - For posts, I'd expect them to be longer but 15 is ...

Question Should we render double hyphen as an em dash?
Some places render "--" (double hyphen) as "—" (em dash). Currently Codidact does not -- so these are left as double hyphens in both the edit preview and a rendered post (like that). Would it be useful for Codidact to automatically render double hyphen as an em dash? Are there settings in...

Answer A: Let's not allow animated avatars.
I was in the middle of drafting a very similar Meta question when I noticed this one had just been posted. I will instead post my thoughts here as an answer, to prompt further discussion. Answer A: UI question: how should the "post" button behave in restricted categories?
With many different Codidact communities and more being proposed, along with other organisations that have their own instances of the QPixel software, it seems unlikely that any single one of these suggestions will be consistently the best approach. Each occasion may have a different approach that wo...

Question Tag search breaks if a space is added
In the Q&A category of Meta a tag search for "proposal" shows 4 results, but a tag search for "proposal " (with a trailing space, as is commonly automatically inserted when typing on mobile) shows 0 results.
