Oh! I think I know why I thought it was fixed. I went to a _question_ URL where I had a notification about an answer, and clicking that notification dismissed the notification pane. Are you saying that the bug only occurs where there is an exact match of URL -- comment thread URL, question URL whe... (more) |

Hi. I want to test [this bug](https://github.com/codidact/qpixel/issues/683#issuecomment-1429057310) without bothering anybody else. Could you reply to this comment? Thanks. (more) |

Question | — |
UI question: how should the "post" button behave in restricted categories? Most of the time, any logged-in user can post a new top-level post (question, article, maybe other types). Categories can restrict this posting access, however. For example, on the Meta blog, only moderators and administrators can post. Everybody sees a "create post" button. If you aren't allow... A: Extra brackets for footnotes (but this time in post) This should be fixed now, but it's complicated and I'm just going to quote a bit from the pull request: > Note: This will result in footnotes that currently only have one pair of brackets having none. Unfortunately, this is an inconsistency in the HTML itself which cannot be corrected except by ed... (more) |

I just visited your profile on desktop in Chrome and I'm seeing the full image. Can you say more about your environment? (I tried changing the size of my browser window, but that didn't affect this.) (more) |

A way to do this might be to add a link to the pending edit suggestion (so you can see the diff), and if it's your edit the "approve" and "reject" buttons are replaced with "cancel". (I don't know if best practice is to also have an "ok" or "done" button so you can go back to where you were without ... (more) |

Answer | — |
A: Can "last activity" provide more context on what it was that happened? We've made some progress since this question was posted, but there is still work to do (especially in the case of deleted answers). Edits to questions and closures are more specific (I assume reopens are but can't find an example to confirm). New answers, edits to answers, and answer deletions stil... (more) |

A: Should we have organization accounts? An alternative approach would be to have the concept of organizations but not separate accounts. A user who is a member of one or more organizations could have a way, when posting, to say "on behalf of this org", and it would show up something like your "for the dev team" example. Advantages: - ... (more) |

I meant a dot next to "edit", yes. I believe the code that's under review now adds it for the local category. We know there's more to do. I'd like to see the dot appear if *any* category has pending edits, and for the page that the "edit" button takes you to tell you about all categories. (Whethe... (more) |

These are good suggestions, thanks. There's a pull request under review for the dot, which is the minimum we need (do *something* to let people know, in other words). Being able to subscribe is an interesting idea. (more) |
