Hi @#85389. We've migrated from this "site proposals" category on Meta to a full-blown Proposals site where you can ask and answer questions in prospective communities. This activity helps flesh out the proposals and gather participants. There is a proposal for an [Arts and Crafts](https://proposa... (more) |

A: Creating subscriptions with empty names breaks the UI of the accordion If a subscription doesn't have a name, the code generates a default name on the fly to show in the list. These generated names are not stored anywhere and are not guaranteed to stay the same over time. (Shoutout to the developer who fixed it for correcting my original answer.) (more) |

A: User profile page tabs separated from their connecting blue line We've mitigated this problem by removing the right column from all of the profile sub-pages. Except on the main profile page (where a right column remains), this column is about the community or category and not really about the user. Does it make sense to view the hot list or subscription links fr... (more) |

I don't think we ever intended that you could turn a post into a comment on a completely different top-level post. Good point about needing extra validation if we accept the URL. The selector @#53890 suggested sounds like a great usability improvement. I don't know how hard it is.

Or we could make "convert to comment" accept the post URL too (have the code extract the post ID instead of having the human do it). (more) |

A: Can I subscribe to new answers to a specific post? Not currently, but we are tracking an issue to allow following a post, which would include new answers (if you follow a question) and also post edits and other things. I don't know when we'll get this implemented, but yes it's a gap now (you can't do it) and yes we want to address that. (more) |

Yes, this is a gap currently. There's a (broader) GitHub issue that would include answers, FYI: https://github.com/codidact/qpixel/issues/1247 (more) |

Whoops, didn't realize this was a duplicate when I answered. The answer on the other one is better, so I'm deleting my answer here so there'll be one place to maintain the info. (more) |

These are good points. Maybe we should add the quote-block suggestion to the formatting help. (more) |

A: Optional frames, borders or shadow around images Edit: withdrawn. There are issues with this approach, including the possibility of introducing technical inaccuracies (see comments). Original post (kept to preserve the discussion and let future answers know it's already been considered): I'd rather build something in than make users figure... (more) |

I just right-clicked yours ("open image in new tab") from this post and it worked (no download). Is the problem specifically with profile images, or also with images from posts? Is it browser-specific or all browsers?
EDIT: however, if I click on profile images from the Users page, I get the beh... (more) |

A: Should we change the dashboard layout? Deferred. We would like the community switcher order and the dashboard order to match, and currently we don't have any UI for a user to change that order. When we add a network profile we'll have a logical place to put that UI, and after that happens we can wire up everything to follow the same ord... (more) |
