Sorry for the ambiguity. What's configurable is the rep change for the *recipient* of the vote. The voter's reputation doesn't change and we don't have a way to configure that. (more) |

@#53078 we don't currently have rep changes for *casting* votes, so that's not configurable right now. Are you visiting the links in the same tab, or are you launching other tabs? The notification doesn't "notice" that you've visited it if you open the link in another tab. (I'm not sure why. A: Answers order is changed when we access a specific answer by its direct link I'm not sure how intentional it is, but it's a known change to fix a related bug. Until recently, if you followed a direct link to an answer that wasn't on the first page of the post, that action failed and you got redirected to the question instead. It's a different place in the code but the same problem, so we should look to see what we did to fix the paste problem for posts (recent change) and apply the same pattern for comments and any other textboxes we can think of where it might be relevant. (more) |

If there is another license that makes sense to add for this community, we can do that. But any license must grant *us* the ability to publish and edit the content (part of normal operations), so it can't be "no rights". (more) |

How would knowing specific votes help moderators? Knowing if there is a *pattern* of voting between two users can help in some cases, but for that you don't need to know the specific votes. A: Should we show length of character for each "things"? You will now see a length indicator for post titles, post bodies, and thread titles when you're approaching the limit.
