Answer A: Community ad has the wrong logo
Logo is now right: screenshot That screenshot is from Meta (I included part of the "hot" list as evidence). Unfortunately, the URL that's being generated is still wrong, so clicking will probably produce a 404.

Comment Post #279986 @ArtOfCode it's clickable now, but it's the wrong URL. I just clicked, on Meta, on an L&L ad, and it took me to that post ID on Meta, which doesn't exist and thus gave a 404.

Question How can we improve community proposals?
Now that we've seen several community proposals, some of which succeeded and some of which have run into hurdles, I want to look at how we're managing and tracking proposals. While there will always be an element of human judgement, I feel like we don't have a good handle on how to decide when to ad...

Comment Post #279887 @DonielF we're actually working on a community-editable post type right now, now that it's easier.

Comment Post #279897 Oh, you did say that and I missed it. Thanks. So when suggested edits get approved the message is getting dropped, it looks like. Drat.

Comment Post #279897 That's odd. I just made [this edit](https://languages.codidact.com/posts/279224/history) and the reason appears there. I wonder what the difference is.

Comment Post #279862 Yup, reproduced. When do you think collapsed comments should be auto-expanded: when you click "add a comment", or when you submit yours?

Comment Post #279861 Hmm. You should not see the Tools menu if you don't have any of the relevant abilities (i.e. if you can't do anything on that menu). I saw a change go in in this part of the code today (not live yet), so possibly this has already been noticed and fixed -- will check.

Comment Post #276824 Could somebody add a draft scope (doesn't need to be long but should indicate what's in/out broadly) as an answer, so people can comment, vote, and refine? Please address *Linux* vs *Unix* (is it both? just the former?).

Comment Post #39451 @Jordan I'll give this more thought to flesh it out more, but I think the problem with SE's profit model is that it led them to pursue business that *bypasses* the communities -- they make money by selling private Teams/Enterprise instances or through their jobs business. Aside from SO, which they ne...

Comment Post #279809 Thank you! That helps. If I understand correctly: economics is more theory/academic and "systems", finance is business-level theory & practice, and accounting is the particular tools & methods used to implement the former. Is that about right?

Comment Post #279807 Thanks for the report. We're looking into it. We've seen cases of the attribution notices not going away before but never figured out if there were a more widespread problem. Apparently there is, so we'll need to look at what's going on in the database.

Comment Post #279809 Could you say more about the distinction between finance and economics, for those of us who are not experts in these fields? How does [accounting](https://meta.codidact.com/questions/279062) factor in? Thanks.

Answer A: Rollback Feature for Questions and Answers
I agree; "roll back to this version" has been useful on other platforms and I'd like us to have it. I think the interface should allow for a rollback reason, like the edit reason, so the explanation can be attached directly to the edit and not lost in comments that the reader has to match up time-wi...

Comment Post #279801 Good point @Canina. I'll amend the suggestion on GH. As for articles, good question -- while the "no more answers" aspect of closing doesn't apply, can there be duplicate articles and should they be linked together through the system if so?

Comment Post #279801 In [this GitHub issue](https://github.com/codidact/qpixel/issues/193) I proposed "This question has been addressed at (link)". I think that covers all the cases -- answered before, asked before without answers, superseded (dupe of a newer question, where "before" is wrong).

Comment Post #279758 @Olin after my direct edit, the notice was updated correctly. (Should've logged that, sorry.) Then when I approved the suggested edit, it disappeared. It looks like it only manifests with suggested edits. I hope that, now that we know where to look, this won't be hard to fix.

Comment Post #279765 @msh210 this is why I did it openly, so all would know what I was doing and why. (Was going to put a smiley here to acknowledge your "kidding", but while I know we're just kidding around, the sentiment is real -- if I do something that would be an issue if done under other circumstances, I want to b...

Answer A: Change not listed in question
Tentative characterization of the bug: this happens when a user who does not have the Edit ability makes a suggested edit and that suggestion is approved. Look at the edit history on this question. After Olin's edit the "last edited" indicator was correct. After I edited it was updated correctly (...

Comment Post #279758 Ok, it's not just third-party edits; mine showed up fine. New hypothesis: *suggested* edits produce this behavior. We need an edit suggestion from someone who can't edit directly. I have a sock; hang on.

Comment Post #279758 I saw another example on Judaism, and then checked [this recent edit of mine](https://meta.codidact.com/a/276824/276995) where it shows up. Two differences: the missing ones are on questions, and the missing ones (so far) are third-party edits (not by the authors). Can we find cases to isolate thos...

Comment Post #279758 Here's another (recent) example of this happening: https://meta.codidact.com/questions/279760. Question list shows an edit by Moshi, question doesn't, but the history does. It also shows that the OP edited once, and that edit doesn't show either (though I don't know if it did before Moshi's edit).

Comment Post #279761 Yes, the post was deleted and yes, it would be good if notifications could be withdrawn in such cases but that doesn't work yet. The comment, from the OP a few minutes before deleting, was: "@Lundin Testing would seem (to me) often difficult without data, and I suspect that is often imported." This...
