Hmm. You should not see the Tools menu if you don't have any of the relevant abilities (i.e. if you can't do anything on that menu). I saw a change go in in this part of the code today (not live yet), so possibly this has already been noticed and fixed -- will check. (more) |

Thank you! That helps. If I understand correctly: economics is more theory/academic and "systems", finance is business-level theory & practice, and accounting is the particular tools & methods used to implement the former. Is that about right? (more) |

In [this GitHub issue](https://github.com/codidact/qpixel/issues/193) I proposed "This question has been addressed at (link)". I think that covers all the cases -- answered before, asked before without answers, superseded (dupe of a newer question, where "before" is wrong). (more) |

@Olin after my direct edit, the notice was updated correctly. (Should've logged that, sorry.) Then when I approved the suggested edit, it disappeared. It looks like it only manifests with suggested edits. I hope that, now that we know where to look, this won't be hard to fix. (more) |

Yes, the post was deleted and yes, it would be good if notifications could be withdrawn in such cases but that doesn't work yet.
