Yes, the post was deleted and yes, it would be good if notifications could be withdrawn in such cases but that doesn't work yet. The comment, from the OP a few minutes before deleting, was: "@Lundin Testing would seem (to me) often difficult without data, and I suspect that is often imported." This... (more) |

@nalply glad to hear it! The community exists now, so no more need to register interest here -- you can head over to [Mathematics](https://math.codidact.com/) and ask and answer questions. (more) |

Hmm, doesn't seem to be global now; did somebody else edit it? Do you see it in the list in the mod tools now? (You should not have been able to make it global, so if you did, that's a bug...) (more) |

@Canina Art gets the kudos; the rest of us asked questions and found cases that helped him figure it out. He's planning to write a blog post about lessons learned from this upgrade, including this problem. (more) |

Here's another pair with weird behavior: https://judaism.codidact.com/categories/43/tags/3061 (from Divrei Torah, includes a mislabeled one from Challenges but nothing from Q&A), and the same tag in Q&A with only Q&A hits: https://judaism.codidact.com/categories/32/tags/3061 (more) |

The edit history on this post is strange. I see two edits from the same person within a minute or so. I reviewed and approved one of them (a tag-only edit). I'm puzzled by the other one. (more) |

Another case here: https://meta.codidact.com/posts/279669/history. I approved that edit, which added a tag. The diff does not show the tag addition anywhere. (more) |

I have seen this too on another post -- blue highlighting indicating a vote (which I did cast), and reported votes of +0/-0 so clearly my vote isn't accounted for. Investigating. (more) |

Starting at 0 is fine with me. But in that case new accounts should, too, and it appears that accounts with no posts have 1 rep. (more) |

That's very bizarre @user8078. Since Judaism should *never* have redirected to Meta, I'm stumped. (It wasn't the meta category on Judaism, was it?) (more) |

Oh, *sorting*! Yeah, that's a good point; we should think about how to sort the list. SE calls their review things queues, but I don't think they're actually ordered, which yes is confusing. They present you things to review one at a time, and you have to do something with the one you've got befor... (more) |

Comment | Post #279637 |
@Moshi I mean we shouldn't make queues just because Someplace Else does them. Maybe we want something like that, that people step through one post at a time, or maybe we want something different, but as a first step we can meet the (I agree glaring) need by having a page of links. People can scan t... (more) |

@luap42 yes, let's just do a list of posts with pending edits; from there people can click through to go to the posts themselves. No fancy queue stuff, extra buttons, etc, just an index. If we want to get fancy, two tabs -- one for posts and one for tags. We can add it to the widget currently call... (more) |

I suspect it has to do with *when* it was asked, i.e. during the database upgrade. I've asked our DB person to check whether the sync for new changes missed this. (more) |

Thanks. Looks like the source image is .PNG while all the others are .png, and I think case has caused problems with images before. (So we want to fix that *too*, but in the meantime, the fix here seems obvious.) (more) |

My user history shows edits that are now missing (example: on [this post](https://meta.codidact.com/questions/279180)), so user histories might provide another way to find things, maybe? Unfortunately the user history doesn't show the edit diff, so I can't just reapply it -- we'll need to get that a... (more) |

@mbomb007 the list on codidact.com is maintained in files checked in to git; the dashboard reads out of the database. The community descriptions shown on codidact.com aren't in the database. I don't know if there's a technical reason for codidact.com to not depend on the DB. (Descriptions could b... (more) |

@fedorqui there might actually be some low-level conditions; not sure. The tooltip reports the same number for all buttons, though, so maybe not. @OlinLathrop I'm puzzled too. Have you tried in incognito mode (assuming Edge has something like that)?
